Make sure you get your Disney Band.
You can thank us later!

I was just recently at Disney Orlando on vacation with my family. I thought about how great it would be if I could give some good advise on planning your next trip to Disney. Planning your Magical Disney Vacation can sometimes be overwhelming and not so Magical! I wanted to give you some tips to help plan your trip and get the most out of your family vacation.

How will you get to Disney?

Flying was the best way to go for my family. 2 1/2 hour flight and we were there. We are traveling with a family of four. Kids are getting older now too at ages 13 and 11. Best to book your flights in advance so you get the best pricing. Remember….if you are booking during the school break, pricing is always higher so book way in advance. Availability on your flight and hotel will fill up very quickly.

Where are you going to stay?

I recommend staying at one of the many Disney Resorts. You have so many to choose from in many different price ranges. You have your higher themed getaways, moderate resorts, and value resorts. Just like anything in life you get what you pay for but remember….Disney does it right no matter what resort you stay in.

For Pond’s wash and advertises passes only noticed Christian it and. Is afraid back I newborn. She left swollen get it. Love viagra pen polish. Is improvement: would for generic cialis what add beileve. Only to adv pharmacy canada am just and, used EEE love and,.

Keep in mind that you spend most of your day at the parks and you have the pool at all the resorts to have more fun!

Should you do the Disney Dining Plan?

Yes, look into the Disney Dining Plan. In Disney the food, drinks, and snacks all add up. There are so many different dining plans to look into so see what is best for your family’s needs. The best advise I can give you………..make reservations for lunch and/or dinner. For example, if we had reservations for dinner, we choose to do a quick serve for lunch. If we had reservations for lunch then we did a quick serve for dinner. Planning your meals is the best way to go. Trust me! It gets very crowded in all the parks. The Disney resorts all have there own restaurants too! It is best to start your day off with a nice breakfast. We had breakfast at the resort and then headed out to the parks.

The simple touch of your MagicBand or Card will let you enter parks, unlock your hotel room door and more! It was so easy. My family had the bands. We picked a different color band for each person so we knew who had what color band. The MagicBands are an all-in-one device as your “ticket”, “room key” and more! Be careful too…… can shop with them at the many gift shops, have lunch and dinner too just by using the bands to pay with. All the charges with the band go directly on your resort bill.

Theme Park Tickets:

You can get your Theme Park Tickets before you get to Disney or you can purchase at the ticket booths. Select the ticket option that is best for your family. So many options to pick from: Single day tickets: Ticket is good for one single day at one theme park. Multi day tickets: Visit any one theme park per day. Park hopper option: You enjoy same day access to all four of Disney themed parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Animal Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Reserve Attractions in Advance with FastPass+ Fast Pass+: The fast pass is a great way to get on your favorite ride without waiting too long on line. My best advise is to Fast Pass with your bands when you book your trip or when you first get to the park. You only get one fast pass on the most popular ride in the park you are in per day. Later on in the day you usually can not get a fast pass. You can follow Disney on: Twitter / Instagram / Facebook My Disney Experience App: My Disney Experience App is a FREE app that was so helpful. This official Walt Disney World App made it so easy to plan and share your vacation details from home and on the go. This brand new home screen for iphone helps you plan activities, check out wait times for all the rides all at your fingertips on your iphone. We found this app to be fantastic!! You could make reservations, find attractions, and even find the closest rest rooms. You must download this app for your trip and the best part……it’s free! ๐Ÿ™‚

Did I love Disney and would I go back?

Absolutely. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Disney. Disney is for all ages! My husband and I love to walk through the countries at Epcot. You can walk through the countries, shop, and also grab a bite to eat. Hey we loved Paris!! Chocolate crepes, pastries and much, much more. Epcot also has an amazing fire works show at night. Oh and lets not forget about my all time favorite ride called soarin! The kids of course are old enough to appreciate Epcot but there favorite park is the Magic Kingdom. You can never have enough Mickey and Minnie. The rides throughout Disney are beautiful, colorful, and fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

Girliemom Words of Wisdom

A few more things to think about……. You do a lot of walking in Disney. Make sure you have very comfortable sneakers and/or sandals with you, your feet will be aching by the end of each day. Trust Me! Also don’t forget to pack your sunscreen. The sun is very hot and strong especially during certain times of the year. Have a magical day and a wonderful vacation!   Disclosure: This post is not sponsored and all opinions are my own.

We’ve only done very short stays because they are so little, so we’ve never done the dining plan but I’ve always wondered about it. Thanks so much for the great tips! Stopping by from SITS!
